It’s a happy day for the Wilberforce Curling Club.
At today’s Highlands East council meeting, the club was presented a cheque for five thousand dollars from Hydro One Networks. It’s part of the Hydro One Power Play program which is all about promoting safe and accessible recreation facilities.
The Curling Club will be using the money for modifications to their existing washrooms to make them wheelchair accessible.
