NewsAlgonquin Highlands supports Put Carnarvon on the Map initiative SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Friday, Jul. 17th, 2015There’s a simple but effective way the farmer’s market could help increase traffic to Carnarvon businesses. The Put Carnarvon on the Map project will hopefully be in place before the end of the summer. The idea is to create a map of Carnarvon that highlights various businesses and they’ll put it on display at the farmer’s market in town. The Haliburton County Farmer’s Market Association is asking for support and Algonquin Highlands councilors agreed to partner by putting in 147 dollars.Minden Hills councilors will get the same request at their next meeting.
