Numbers are up and business is booming in Haliburton County. That’s according to a number of local businesses that gave their feedback to Director of Tourism, Amanda Virtanen on how the summer is going.

She says some people have said it’s the busiest summer they’ve seen, and they’re happy to be part of the buzz.

The Haliburton County Farmer’s Market is also seeing an increase in numbers this year, according Minden Hills Reeve Brent Devolin. Dysart et al Deputy-Reeve Andrea Roberts also says this is the busiest she’s ever seen.

Virtanen also says their advertising efforts have been effective, because they’ve been able to gather over 29 million consumer impressions.
