The Head Lake boat launch will be closed for the weekend starting today.

The municipality agreed to close it to support the Outboard Powerboat Races happening for the first time in Haliburton.

People can launch their boats at RPM in Haliburton free of charge for the weekend. They’re located on County Road 21 across from the Independent.
