Thanks to a caring community, Moose FM was able to raise $18,378 for the food banks of the county. The money will be evenly distributed between the 4Cs in Haliburton, and the food banks in Minden, Cardiff and Wilberforce. The cash will help fill Christmas hampers as well as keep food on the shelves for the winter. Today is also the last day for the Haliburton County Home Builders Association Christmas Challenge.
