One impaired driver charged in week three of the Festive RIDE program. Over 3,300 vehicles were checked and fourteen highway traffic act charges laid. Three drivers were also charged with impaired in non-RIDE related stops by OPP. RIDE checks can happen any time of day or night and remote or seldom used back roads are not exempt as checkpoint locations. OPP urge motorists to call 911 if you suspect an impaired driver is on the road this holiday season.
