Some changes could be coming to the Village of Haliburton to try to help with the traffic. The municipality had an engineer measure the foot and car traffic on a Tuesday this summer and give some recommendations. While he said a crosswalk should not go at the entrance to the town docks, something should go in at the intersection of Highland, York and Cedar streets. Before council makes a decision, another study will look at the volume of traffic in the off-season next month.
