NewsPalliative care in the Madawaska Valley looking for volunteers SHARE ON: Amanda Lorbetski, staff Wednesday, Sep. 9th, 2015Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care is looking to expand its volunteer team.The organization offers palliative care to patients and their families at the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, the Valley Manor and the new hospice that was built in Barry’s Bay last year.Executive Director of the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation Toni Lavigne-Conway says palliative care is looking to add about 25 volunteers to its team of more than 60 members.
