Our local tourism director is hoping for another three years as a board member of Ontario’s Highlands Tourism Organization. Amanda Virtanen was elected last year, and will be up for re-election at the conference and AGM in October. The conference will be talking about the visitor experience in Ontario’s Highlands. Terry O’Reilly from the CBC will be the keynote speaker.
