News Festive RIDE results better than last year SHARE ON: Sue Black, staff Friday, Jan. 3rd, 2014 The OPP are happy with the Festive Ride campaign results. They report there were significantly fewer impaired driving charges and warn range suspension totals this year. Although they’re pleased to see the numbers lower than last year, they say a small number of drivers still threatened the lives of other road users over the holidays. The OPP thank Ontarians who helped carry out a successful campaign by not drinking and driving, not letting family and friends drive impaired and for calling 911 to report a suspected impaired driver. The RIDE campaign wrapped up yesterday.
