There are about to be a lot more deer on the roads in Haliburton County. Hunting season has opened for some hunters, and that means wildlife are on the move. Haliburton Highlands OPP says drivers should be attentive and be prepared to stop suddenly. Never swerve to miss a deer, and drive with caution through crossing zones.
