A RIDE check in Minden lays charges against the driver and the passenger. On Sunday OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Water Street and charged a 47 year old male from Mount Hope with driving while under suspension and no seatbelt. His 24 year old passenger from Minden was charged with having open liquor in the vehicle. OPP remind motorists that although the Festive RIDE program is over, officers will be routinely conducting checks throughout the year.
