A stop at a ride check means drug charges for a local youth. Haliburton Highlands OPP had a ride check on County Road 21 over the weekend.
A male driving a red pick up truck was stopped and police smelled marijuana. The drug was found in the truck, and it was seized. The male is being charged with possession of under 30 grams of marijuana.
His name is not being released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
