Too early to tell if beer will be sold in local grocery stores

Grocery stores in Ontario will be able to sell beer by the end of the year, but that may not be the case in Haliburton County. Local store owners say it’s too early to tell whether or not they will be on that list. Steve Todd of Todd’s Independent says if it does happen, they could only sell it during beer store hours. Before the end of the year, up to 60 grocery stores in the province could be authorized to sell beer.
