A Warm Hug From the Highland is a volunteer-based quilting initiative of the AbbeyRetreat Centre that provides warm and cozy quilts for permanent and seasonal residents living with cancer. Our next volunteer quilting day is Saturday, March 25, from 9:30 – 4pm at theAbbey Retreat Centre (1150 Garden Gate Dr, Haliburton, ON) All are invited! Come for the day or part of the day. Bring your sense of fun, your friends, a sewing machine if you have one and your interest in learning a new skill if you’ve never quilted before! All ages welcome!
