Designed for adventurous kids, 8-12 years of age, the Naturally Kids Outdoor Skills program at Abbey Gardens will teach outdoor skills through activities like photo orienteering, create and use your own stick stove, fire building, trailside nutrition, and cooking, slinging tarp shelters, learning handy knots, making rope out of natural fibers, and learning environmentally responsible practices while camping and travelling in the backcountry. A great way to improve your outdoor camping and bushcraft skills in a fun and safe environment. This is a four program series, Saturdays from January to April (10am-3pm).
