Stanhope and Community Fall Colours Fly-in/Drive-in

Stanhope and Community Fall Colours Fly-in/Drive-in at Stanhope Municipal Airport on Saturday, September 30.  This fun-filled family event will feature an array of classic automobiles and aircraft. A fire truck and ambulance will be on site for perusal, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is scheduled to attend with a helicopter and fire equipment. Food from local restaurants will be available for purchase, and for a fee attendees will be able to take a flight to see the Haliburton Highlands fall colours from above. The fly-in will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a rain date of October 1. Admission and parking are free. The airport is located at 1168 Stanhope Airport Road.
