Road Closure in Minden Hills

A road is closed in Minden Hills, which could cause some delays.

The Township of Minden Hills has closed Bobcaygeon Road for brushing operations.

It will be closed from Plantation Road to Highway 118.

Officials say it is open to local traffic only. But, it will be re-opened tomorrow.

They are asking drivers to watch for and obey posted signage.

The Municipality of Highlands East wants drivers to know about a road closure.

On Tuesday, September 27^th, a part of West Eel’s Lake Road will be closed.

Officials say the closure will happen where the water crosses the road at the twin culverts west of the Snowmobile House.

This is because a culvert needs to be replaced.

The Roads Department is thanking those affected in advanced for their understanding and patience for any inconvenience this may cause.

Minden Hills township has closed Bobcaygeon Road.

It will be closed between 6:30am to 4:30pm until September 1st. This is because of brushing operations.

The closure is from Plantation Road to Highway 118, but it is open to local traffic only.

Councillors are asking drivers to obey posted signage, and use extreme caution around the area.

The construction on the Head Lake Bridge is expected to be finished at the end of this month.

The Municipality of Haliburton County is reminding drivers to consider alternate routes when possible.

The county is thanking residents for their patience during this project.
