Haliburton Highlands OPP is participating in a seatbelt campaign during the Easter long weekend.

Police say there will be a much higher volume of traffic in Haliburton County and it is important for them to make sure drivers, passengers and children are properly buckled.

OPP warns that failing to buckle up is a $240 fine and two demerit points.

They encourage drivers to help them keep Ontario roads safe by reporting any dangerous drivers they see this weekend.
