New system means faster information on flood conditions https://www.myhaliburtonnow.com/1606/news/new-system-means-faster-information-on-flood-conditions/ Fri, 11 Apr 2014 13:04:48 +0000 http://moosefm.com/cfzns/news/?p=1606

New communication efforts will mean water level information will get to you sooner. Haliburton County councilor Carol Moffatt made a communication chart to create a flow of information. Approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Trent-Severn Waterway, the chart acts as a phone tree so information is reaching the right people in a reasonable amount of time.

The new system will work to get information on water conditions and warnings to the residents quicker and easier. Moffatt says the hope is this will reduce the number of calls to TSW and assure the water conditions are being closely monitored.
