Ashall running for Deputy-Reeve in Minden Hills says tough decisions is why he decided to run

Rick Ashall says the tough decisions facing Minden Hills is one of the reasons he decided to run for Deputy-Reeve. He says he’s familiar with the Township’s financial situation and knows it won’t be easy to prioritize tasks. He’s talking about much needed upgrades to Township buildings like the Cultural Centre and the Arena. According to the last engineer’s report, the arena will cost approximately 2.4 million dollars to fix. Ashall says everything needs to be assessed, especially in light of the new OPP billing model that will cause a dramatic increase in taxes.

He says balancing those issues are all part of the job.
