The Minden Hills fire department is asking for donations for the annual Community Christmas Basket Program. They won’t be doing door to door collections this year, but they are asking people to drop off their donations at the municipal office on Milne Street.
They are accepting non-perishable foods and new, unwrapped children’s toys. Donations are being accepted until December 15th.
The baskets will be delivered to families in Kinmount and Minden for the holidays.
