Visual Artists and Artisans Roundtable

The Arts Council Haliburton Highlands presents a Visual Artists and Artisans Roundtable on Tuesday, from 5:30 – 8:30 in the Great Hall, Haliburton School of Art and Design. This is an appetizer pot luck event. Whether you're a professional, hobbyist, educator or student you won't want to miss this opportunity to learn about the Community of Making Program and all that it can offer you. Stroke Support Group

Jan 18 The Haliburton Highlands Stroke Support Group will be meeting at the Fireside Lounge at the Minden Hospital from 10am to 12noon on Thursday  Our group meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month. This group  welcomes  stroke survivors and their caregivers and any other interested parties who  are dealing  with someone who has had a stroke.

CFUW Meeting

The CANADIAN FEDERATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN (CFUW)  monthly meeting presents guest speaker Andy Oh on the topic Sweet and Savoury Korean Treats. Andy the chef/owners of Maple Avenue Tap and Grill in Haliburton,  will be demonstrating how to cook a few Korean dishes. Happening at the Haliburton United Church Thursday afternoon from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
