If you want to donate to the Canadian Red Cross for Syrian refugees, check with your local bank.
Five of Canada’s largest banks donated one million dollars collectively back in September. Starting today, customers can donate at their local branch. People with the TD Bank can go to the branch in Minden. Other banks include CIBC and BMO, but there’s no word yet on whether the local branches will have that option open to customers.
