Environment Canada says Warmer than usual Winter for the Highlands

The current temperature is warmer than it should be for Haliburton. This is as we head into a weekend where temperatures could even go above zero degrees. Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says the average low for this point in the winter should be minus five, whereas this year is averaging out at minus two. Kimbell says despite the warmer-than-normal winter weather this weekend, temperatures should drop by Sunday night or Monday morning.
