The Haliburton Highlands OPP is investigating after an accident in Minden Hills. Police say it happened just before 4:00pm on Friday at the Riverview Furniture Store. A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman from Minden had been picking up furniture from the store. The man was standing behind the vehicle directing the woman who had been reversing towards a storage trailer. The woman accelerated, pinning the man between the vehicle and the storage trailer. The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Minden hospital before being airlifted to Toronto. The female driver did not suffer any injuries.
