TLDSB Arbitration Measures to Settle Contract Disbutes

The Trillium Lakelands District School Board could soon be turning to arbitration to settle contract disputes.
This, if they are unable to reach tentative agreements in their upcoming scheduled meetings.
The school board is trying one last time with a provincial mediator to meet with local Professional Student Services Personnel on January 25th.
They will then meet with the local Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation on February 4th and 5th.
The local OSSTF has been carrying out strike action since November 4th and the school board says it’s gone on long enough.
The school board has been able to reach agreements with both the local Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario and the local CUPE.
