This past weekend the Joanne Sharpley’s Source for Sports Highland Storm Peewee A’s played in the annual Muskoka-Parry Sound tournament in Gravenhurst. In game 1, they were pitted against the Parry Sound Shamrocks. Tyson Clements had the only Storm goal, and goalie Darian Maddock notched his tenth shutout in a 1-0 win. Next up was the Huntsville Otters, who edged the Peewee A’s by a score of 3-2. Alex Little and Jake Sisson had the Storm goals. Game 3 was a 1-0 win over the South Muskoka Bears that earned them a spot in the finals and a second shot at the Huntsville Otters. The Championship game was a nail biter that saw the Storm tie it at 2 with only seconds left in the game. Alex Little scored the eventual overtime winner and the Peewee A’s are MPS Champs!
