The Haliburton County snowmobile association is reporting a number of their trails are groomed and available for snowmobiling, there are also several that are rated as LIMITED AVAILABILITY – meaning the Trails may or may not be groomed. Expect marginal conditions and use extra caution. For more information go to the clubs website at at hcsa.ca. The Paudash Trailblazers Snowmobile Club says it’s not sure when it will be able to open trails. The club says it’s working to groom trails after recent ice and windstorms, along with the amount of rain. Combined with other factors, there are still a number of hazards on trails. Though things are starting to freeze up, more snow is still needed. The club says trails should be open soon.
