The 27th Annual Haliburton Forest Snowmobile Poker Run is just around the corner. This popular fundraiser is asking for your help to raise money for Haliburton firefighters by coming out on February 6th and snowmobile on the trails.

Participants ride the trails from cabin to cabin collecting tokens along the way. These shelters, serving as check-points, will provide hot chocolate, coffee, hot dogs, pancakes and more. At the end of the day the tokens collected are exchanged for a draw of a Poker hand. Top prize is a brand new snowmobile.

This fundraiser has helped our firefighters buy rescue equipment like a snow ambulance, and a rescue boat.

The Haliburton Forest Office Manager, Tegan Legge, said she is happy to be part of this event.

Help our firefighters buy more rescue equipment by coming out on Saturday, February 6th. Pre-registration is not required and the doors open at 8am. All proceeds will go to the Haliburton Firefighters Association.
