The Eastern Ontario Wardens Caucus has set its 2014 priorities. Each year the caucus meets in January to establish its key objectives. This year the priorities are to complete an economic development strategy, to research and support the financial sustainability of municipalities in the region and to develop strategies to address the escalating costs of policing. The group also elected a new chair and vice chair for the coming year.
