Some new Wi-Fi hot spots will soon be popping up in Haliburton.
Over the last 18 months, the county has been part of a proposal led by the Eastern Ontario Regional Network.
The goal was to improve internet availability across Eastern Ontario.
Bell was awarded the contract as the only serious bidder.
Over 20 sites have selected in Haliburton for the new hotspots, including some county offices.
