NewsMinden Hills Increase In Tax SHARE ON: Kaitlin Livingston, contributor, Monday, Feb. 1st, 2016Minden Hills residents will have an increase in tax this year, but council is aiming to keep it under 10 per-cent.Reeve Brent Devolin says we have challenging times in the municipality and without reductions in the draft budget it would be a 15 per cent increase over to last year’s tax levy.The township will be using $44,000 out of a reserve to help the minimize the impact.Council will have a second round of budget discussions in the coming weeks.
