News Roads study could put some back to gravel SHARE ON: Sue Black, staff Tuesday, Jan. 28th, 2014 A study is underway looking at road surface treatments. Dysart staff has been conducting traffic counts on a number of roads to help decide what type of surface should be used. In the last 5 years the municipality has spent almost half a million dollars paving roads. The study will help decide if some of the roads should be put back to gravel to save money. They have also been experimenting with different treatments to get the most for the money. It was agreed they should continue the study and bring the results back to council.
