A man from Minden has been sent to a Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto with serious injuries.
Police were called this morning to Highway 35 near Bethany on Lifford Road because of a head on-collision involving two cars.
The driver in the other vehicle has been pronounced dead at the scene.
Kawartha Lakes police says the investigation is still on-going.
