The Stanley Cup will be in Haliburton this weekend. Community Care’s signature Scotty Morrison Tournament kicks off Friday night with a cocktail party and silent auction and the iconic cup will be there. Bring your friends and family to the party being hosted by Canadian Hockey League President David Branch and have your picture taken with the championship trophy. Haliburton Hockey Alumni will be on the ice at the A.J. LaRue arena Saturday night for an exhibition game officiated by NHL officials. This is Community Care Haliburton County’s biggest fundraiser of the year, so come out, have fun and help your community at the same time.
