New Bus Line Starting In September

Kawartha Lakes Busing will be taking over 54 bus routes in Haliburton County.

CKL busing will take over starting this September because First Student Bus Lines didn’t renew its contract.

Trillium Lakelands District School Board Communications Manager Catherine Shedden confirmed that Kawartha Lakes Busing would take over the county’s routes.

First Student spokeswoman Jen Biddigner wants local employees to know they will be able to seek employment with the new company.
