Canada’s first 4-day symposium for Performing Arts in Rural Communities is happening right here in the Highlands. Creators, producers, presenters and animateurs of theatre, dance, music and media arts will have a chance to discuss the business of performing arts and building place-based culture. SPARC features over 35 workshops and keynote speakers as well as open stage performances on opening night. The premiere symposium takes place April 24 to the 27 and registration is open.
