The Ministry of Natural Resources is warning Haliburton County residents of potential flooding in the area.
Officials say water levels are expected to rise in lakes and rivers following significant rainfall.
They urge residents that have been affected by high water conditions in the past to make sure their sump pumps are functioning and to secure items that may float away.
The MNRF is closely monitoring the weather and developing watershed conditions.
