The municipality of Dysart puts on a great winter event on the Saturday of the Family Day weekend. For the second year in a row Frost Fest includes the Polar Bear Dip Challenge. The icy dip into Head Lake is sponsored by the Lions Club of Haliburton and money raised goes to Sick Kids for the Eye Project. Sign up pledge forms are available at businesses around the county and right here at the Moose FM station in Haliburton.
