The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry wants residents to know that there is a flood warning issued for Haliburton County.
They say that Gull River water levels will continue to rise over the next several days.
MNRF is advising locals who have a history with flooding to make sure their sump pumps are working.
MNRF wants residents to keep a close watch on conditions by checking for updated messages.

Residents are advised that sand and sandbags are available at the following locations:
S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre, located at 55 Parkside Street.
Roads Department located at 4564 County Road 121.
Furnace Falls Park Front Turnaround – County Road 503.
