The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP has found one of the two missing canoeists.
On April 3rd three people tried to bring a pedal boat back that drifted from shore on Pigeon Lake.
The canoe capsized and only one person made it back to land.
Police say the canoers weren’t wearing life jackets.

Today they recovered the missing 23 year old male from Scarborough at 3:45 pm from Pigeon Lake.
Police say the name of the man is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
The search continues for the 28 year old female from Halton.
