The Highlands East Fire Heritage Committee has organized a carnival in Wilberforce this summer.
According to the organizers the event will be a fundraiser for the committee.
The money will also go towards other organizations to raise funds for their causes.
Chair of the Highlands East Fire Heritage Committee Curtis Tighe says there will be rides, concessions, food, Â and entertainment.
Although plans for the Wilberforce Summer Carnival are still in the works, committee members are hoping to hold the event during the Civic holiday weekend.
