This week is National Volunteer Week.
Executive Director of the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society Jennifer Wilson says volunteers are the roots of strong communities.
She encourages people to recognize and celebrate volunteers in the community.
She added that 75 individuals in the area volunteered last year at the K-H-C-A-S.
