The Township of Minden Hills has sent out a water advisory for Gull River.
Officials say the water level will slightly decline over the next 24 hours.
They say it will increase again as water is being released from the upper reservoirs.
Property owners are being asked to monitor their situations and to be prepared for self-evacuation.
Water is still flooding low-lying areas along McKnight, Invergorden, Anson, St. Germaine, Prince and Orde streets.
