The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is waiting to hear if the local teachers’ demands are a legal negotiation position.
The school board took the issue to the Ontario Labour Relations Board and is waiting on a decision.
This comes after the union chose not to participate in arbitration with the school board back in February.
The union has directed teachers to avoid taking part in any graduation-related activities.

Teachers are also being directed to avoid leaving comments or proper grades on April report cards.
The school board is concerned about the impact these sanctions will have on student achievement.
