The Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce has completed the Cycling Economic Impact Survey in partnership with the Communities in Action Committee and the Haliburton Highlands Tourism Department.
Member Services Representative Autumn Smith says 162 people responded to the survey.
Smith says cycling is a significant influence on visitors making a return visit to the area.
She says cyclists who visited the area last year spent an average of $540 per visit.
