Places for People are holding a bowl-a-thon fundraiser this weekend. The not for profit organization purchase homes in the county, fixes them up and offers them for low rent to families in need. This fundraiser will help them complete renovation on a home in Minden. The house on Newcastle Street will be ready for a new family on April 1st. If you’d like to help them build castles for kids you can join in on the fun tomorrow at the Fast Lane in Minden.
