Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre has received money from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Director Laurie Jones says they now have $50,000 to use toward renovations.
Jones says the money will go toward a multi-purpose area, lighting, a kitchen, insulation and repairs.
She says construction will start mid-September with the plans to re-open in December.
