The construction of the Haliburton Junction Skate Park may take longer than expected.
Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says they were hoping to start rebuilding the park in May, but Trillium denied the grant request.
She says the committee is now discussing other potential fundraising events.
She says they will continue to work towards getting the money for the skate park.
